Bowers Group is delighted to announce several new additions to the UK sales team, further strengthening the team and expanding its reach across the UK. Recent appointments include Chris Baker, who has joined the Bowers Group UK Sales Team in the capacity of West Midlands Area Sales Manager; and Dan Beaulieu, who has taken the position of East Midlands Sales Manager. In addition, former Mobile Metrology Centre Demonstrations Manager Dan French will be moving into a new role as South West Sales Manager.

Reporting to the newly appointed UK & Ireland Sales Manager Dave Smith, Chris Baker will be responsible for the West Midlands region, managing sales and new business across the current direct and distribution customers. Chris will also be responsible for acquiring new business in the area, in support of Bowers Group’s ambitious growth plans. Chris brings with him many years’ experience within the engineering sector, and his previous experience and skill-set will be both transferable and essential to his new role.
Dan Beaulieu has also joined the Bowers Group sales team in the capacity of East Midlands Sales Manager, and is responsible for the management of sales across the product lines for Bowers Group in the area. Dan will be responsible for maintaining sales and acquiring new business across current direct and distribution customers, further contributing to the growth plans of the group. Dan joins the business from Optimax, the UK Starret agent, and has a number of years’ experience in the engineering sector. Dan’s previous role and his BSc Honours degree in Mechanical Engineering from Oxford Brookes University make him perfectly placed to meet the challenges of this new role.
Finally, after an exceptionally successful year as Mobile Metrology Centre Demonstrations Manager, Dan French will be swapping his extensive UK travel in the MMC for a position closer to home, taking the role of South West Sales Manager from October. Dan will now be responsible for the South West region, managing sales and new business across the current
