Bowers Group enjoyed a very busy stand at MAKTEK Eurasia in Istanbul, Turkey from 11th – 16th October. On display was Bower’s newest range of hardness testers, including the latest ESEWAY ‘ROCKMATIC’ Rockwell / Brinell Hardness Tester.
MAKTEK Eurasia was jointly organised by the Machine Tools Industrialists and Businessmen’s Association (TIAD) and the Association of Machinery Manufacturers (MIB). MAKTEK Eurasia 2016 Fair was the largest gathering platform for the machinery industry in Eurasia, and took place at the TÜYAP Fair and Congress Centre in Istanbul, Turkey.
Held with the support of the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology and the Ministry of Economy, the event was visited by over 70,000 professionals from 75 countries. MAKTEK Eurasia 2016 generated 1.5 billion dollars' worth of business volume for Turkey, and is thought to increase machine tools exports by 14% in 2017 to a total volume of 535 million dollars.
The ESEWAY ROCKMATIC displayed at MAKTEK is a new generation of hardness testing machine. The tester’s main body is a rugged casting which incorporates a load cell, closed loop force actuator that provides continuous force feedback information to the advanced electronics. It features load cell, force feedback, closed loop system, and boasts excellent accuracy. Depending on the model, the Rockmatic can accommodate loads of 2.5kgf/24.5N up to 187.5kgf/1838N with fully automatic operation.
