September saw Bowers Group attend one of the world’s leading metalworking events, EMO Hannover. With over 2,200 exhibitors and 130,000 people attending the event, Bowers Group was pleased to enjoy a busy exhibition stand and a huge amount of interest in the precision measurement products displayed.
An increased number of international visitors flocked to EMO, where Bowers Group exhibited its range of high quality precision measurement equipment, including the market leading BOWERS bore gauge range, MOORE and WRIGHT workshop and hand tools, ESEWAY branded bench hardness testers and BATY non-contact measuring solutions including the NEW Venture XT with the latest V4 Fusion Software.
Widely regarded as the top global trade fair for the metalworking sector, EMO brings together manufacturers and users from all countries, and was therefore a great opportunity for Bowers Group to showcase its expertise in precision measurement solutions for a variety of metal working applications.
Bowers enjoyed a wide area of interest in all products. Hardness testers were very popular and end users from a variety of differing industries requested more information. The new Venture XT was also of great interest, with many distributors returning to the stand in order to get a greater understanding of its extended capabilities and new features.
Bowers Group Export Sales Director Richard Grocott said:
“Whilst EMO was based in Germany, it was a very international show. We had visitors from Japan, Argentina, South Africa, as well as from the rest of Europe. We had staff on the stand who spoke, German, Italian, Russian, Danish, Norwegian and Spanish, which proved to be a positive aspect for us at the show. It is always nice to at least be able to greet people in their native language; it helped to show that we take our export business very seriously.”
