Bowers Group has once again attended the International Quality Assurance Trade Fair, Control Exhibition 2019. The event boasted 871 exhibitors from 33 countries, and more than 27,000 visitors at the Stuttgart Exhibition Centre from the 7th until the10th of May, 2019. As the world’s leading trade fair for quality assurance, Control this year was heavily focussed on digitalised and connected quality assurance systems, including industrial image processing.
Bowers Group exhibited a selection of sophisticated vision systems, including the Baty VuMaster, which includes the MK4 software for improved functionality. Also on display was the Baty Venture XT , its latest vision system including version 4 Fusion Software. As always, our range of gauges including universal gauges, bore gauges, and air gauges were extremely well received by visitors.
Bowers Group Sales Director Stuart Millington said:
“Control Exhibition was a great opportunity to demonstrate how our products facilitate Industry 4.0 with sophisticated software and data transfer capabilities. Connective metrology enables effective data exchange, making receiving data more efficient and reducing error margins.”
There was also significant interest in the specials designed and developed by the Bowers Group special applications team. Many people visited the stand to discuss their own specific measurement requirements and to find out more about Bowers Group’s uniquely designed gauges for a range of special applications. These include solutions for the measurement of grooves, threads, splines and sphericals which are fully compatible with Bowers XT range of digital bore gauges and include optional Bluetooth.
Visitors also enjoyed the chance to witness the Sylcom software from Sylvac, which allows the connection of Bowers instruments either by USB cable or by Bluetooth. The Sylvac Smart and Sylvac Anywhere App is now available on both Android and Apple smart devices, demonstrating connectivity between devices and improving efficiencies with accessible data transfer.
The 34th Control Exhibition takes place in Stuttgart from 5th – 8th May 2020.
