Bowers Group is delighted to announce that Dan French has joined the Bowers Group Sales Team as Mobile Metrology Centre Demonstration Manager. With a strong background in metrology and mechanical engineering, including a recent role as Product Marketing Engineer at Renishaw, Dan has excellent experience in providing front line technical support to customers.
Dan’s role will involve detailed product demonstrations for the full range of metrology products available from the Bowers Group, as well as driving sales and acquiring new business. Dan will also be responsible for supporting the UK Area Sales Managers in conjunction with the UK Sales Manager to identify current and potential new customers along with new market sectors, planning campaigns, and managing the Mobile Metrology Centre.

Equipment on board includes the high quality optical inspection system, the Baty Venture Vision System, and the Sylvac Scan 52 optical measuring machine. Also on display and available for demonstrations are the Accretech Surfcom Nex, and the Innovatest Falcon 500 Vickers hardness tester. In addition, customers will have the chance to see a range of Bowers Bore Gauges and Sylvac Bluetooth hand tools.
Recent improvements to the Mobile Metrology Centre include a 43" Flatscreen fully equipped with a variety of useful marketing collateral and product information, as well as the opportunity to provide customers software demonstrations.
