Bowers Group is delighted to announce that George Jackson will be joining the Bowers Sales Team as Mobile Metrology Centre Demonstration Manager. With a strong background in metrology, including a recent role as Metrology Applications Engineer at Renishaw, George has many years’ valuable experience in delivering customer demonstrations.
George will be responsible for the Mobile Metrology Centre and all involved demonstration activity, as well as planning and delivering sales support to the field sales team. Martin Hawkins, UK Sales Manager at Bowers Group said: “The Mobile Metrology Centre has been a fantastic opportunity for Bowers Group to demonstrate a range of products to a variety of businesses up and down the UK, and continues to be very popular with customers. We are very pleased to have George on board, and we wish him every success in his new role.”
Equipment on board includes the high quality optical inspection system, the Baty Venture Vision System, and the Sylvac Scan 52 optical measuring machine. Also on display and available for demonstrations are the Accretech Surfcom Nex, and the Innovatest Falcon 500 Vickers hardness tester. In addition, customers will have the chance to see a range of Bowers Bore Gauges and Sylvac Bluetooth hand tools.
Recent improvements to the Mobile Metrology Centre include a 43" Flatscreen fully equipped with a variety of useful marketing collateral and product information, as well as the opportunity to provide customers software demonstrations.
